Myself and my middle brother Bruce Niceley some time in 1964 or 5.Bruce and I watched the Beatles together in 1965 and decided we would play bass and guitar respectively.I stuck with it.Bruce played acoustic guitar and sang in church as well as enjoying motorcycles/ hunting / fishing / and most of all his three daughters,Virginia, Kate and Emily.With great sorrow and pain I'm sorry to say Bruce left this mortal coil on the afternoon of 03/22/2024.I'm wishing you much love and peace.Ted ... A few words about Michael ( Reidy).I first saw him and Bill Craig in " the Sunny Boy Reid Organization" in a recreation center near Iverson Mall , Suitland Md.Playing the live arrangement of Route 66 off of the Stones ." Got Live If You Want It" .Blown away.They let me in the band after two auditions and off we went.I was 17.Fondest memories of driving around the back roads of P.G. County in Mikes deep blue 1960 Porsche with a hole in the floor board smoking cigs( Salems for Mick) and choice cannabis listening to WHMC ( Barry Richard's) then over to Michael's apartment in Greenbelt md, listening to Howling Wolf records, Savoy Brown , Chris Youldon version , 'Life's One Act Play'.Michael loved drinking store brand cream soda.Saw the movie Performance about 30 times with him, Gimme Shelter in the high 20's.Kung Fu movies on Saturday's , ridiculously over the top .Playing gigs was crazy , especially at the oft mentioned KEG, in a strip mall(?) off Wisconsin Avenue.3 sets a night that people still talk about decades later and probably were that groups apex for many. After shows Michael would come by my house and we would watch ' the 700 club ' and we would goad Michael into calling the show , where he would spin a yarn and end up speaking in tongues to the delight of people answering the phones, knowing Jesus had saved him.That's how I like remembering Michael and I and that Razz.God speed, love to you.T ...
